Prelimary Task. Front cover and contents page

My task was to go out and take three pictures of someone, so I went out using a camera and took three midshot of Vlad, after I finished the task I uploaded the picture up onto the computer, saving the picture onto my folder. I opened up Adobe Photoshop CS3 and picked out one picture from the three photos I've took so that I can use that image to edit and use it as my magazine front cover, I choose picture number two. I opened up the picture into Adobe Photoshop CS3 and started editing.

The first edit I used on this picture is the brightness and contrasting balance tool for the lighting in this pictures, I increased the brightness and the contrast of this picture because the original picture lighting was dark, the image wasn't clear to see, I then cropped the image to make it fit into a magazine style photo and also to get rid of the ends that wasn't necessary. After I cropped the image I then sharpen the image, I sharpened the image because so that it can get rid of the entire blur in this image, making this image more focused then before and clear to see. I then saved the image and opened up Adobe Illustrator.

I opened Adobe Illustrator and inserted the image, I then after added puffs, title and anchorage texts. The colours I used were white, blue and red. These colours are to represent Bishop Challoner and for my magazine.

For the contents page I wanted a black background because I wanted to use the colours that I used for the Front cover which were, blue and white. This will stand out because of the colour used stands out on black background. The title I used is in big and bold capital letters. The contents were big and in different colours.
